White lies

It’s a line and the end varies
get to it,
determine it.
Dilly dally along the way
and quitting doesn't help.
Keeping at it entertains.
Discoveries that you never made
now you did.
Lands that you skipped
are now lit.
Diss the world when it’s
back is turned,
who’s to tell.
You did it to strangers.
Wash the linen
with words,
nothing to them,
cleansing for you.
The line on the
fabric is always
a perception.
Help others perceive
as you see fit.
Nobody forgives lest they forget
just paint with words
appeasements
let rip, create worth.
